Dropzone springs....

Hello, new to the forum here. So this Saturday I installed dropzone springs from the older generation corolla. Car rides cool and obviously stiffer. I still have stock shocks on the car. I just wanted it to look cool not looking to do anything crazy with it. I noticed a little camber on the back and wonder if there's anything I could do other than replacing the springs? Thing is, I went for the cheap suspension as a temporary method of lowering it. The minute everything goes bad, ill replace both shocks and springs for a better set. Just trying to make it last as long as I can before I have to replace the suspension. What do you guys think? Car now has 6,500 miles. I just got it. I'll post pics in a minute to show you guys what I'm talking about.

Is the back lower than the front?

at first it was by like less than half an inch. Those pics were taking that same saturday. Today wednesday, it looks even lol.

take more pics like full side shot and ones form different angles. how low is it? 2 inch drop?

well a 2 in drop all around is like putting 9thgen megan springs but this looks lower ..more like 9thgen s techs...i like it! but yeah a whole side shot would be awesome!

Springs won't introduce any camber to these cars no matter how low you go, it's a solid axle. Maybe you had a tiny bit before and just noticed it. Shims or bending the axle are really the only alternatives.

Did u get an alignment?

As dragon said, get an alignment. Changing your springs will give you camber, don't believe me I'll be more than happy to find some pictures of my front wheels after I put on my TRD's.

I still miss that camber... made it look stanced as hell. D:

Not worth the tires, however.

Yeah when I put on my TRD springs I didnt notice any camber so I left it for a few monthes.. Eventually ordered some FSB and RSB and took it in to get an alignment done.. My camber was good but my toe was off by a large amount..

Camber on the front, yes, on the back no.

Well I didn't get an alignment yet since the car doesn't really pull anywhere. And the camber is on the rear but is really not that big of a deal. I just got used to its factory height with no camber and now that i lowered it, well I'm really seeing it. The springs are cheap. Dropzone from the 03-08 corolla. Maybe that's what's messing it up??? The tires should last as if I never lowered it or maybe a little less due to the camber... The thing is, I'm actually testing the springs while waiting on my tires to go bad so I can get a new set of wheels. If the springs work out for me, then I'll get the whole dropzone suspension from ebay. shocks and springs for like $350 I think not sure. If anything, I guess i'll have to go with Tein since that's all i ever had on my prior hondas.... BTW, thanks for looking out guys. I'm liking this forum.

Our car has a torsion beam rear suspension, so there will not be any camber at all. You have to get your alignment done even the car doesn't pull to the side. After you lowered your car, the front toe will be off by alot, without alignment, your front tires are gonna worn out premature. Front camber can be adjusted by using camber bolts as well....

How does installing lowering springs affect the front toe?
